Nav N Go and its partners will present 3D navigation software at CeBIT 2008. Nav N Go iGO, which also features notable buildings, houses and reliefs, will be available in Hungary within 8 weeks.
Nav N Go has announced that its 3D navigation software, Nav N Go iGO 8, will also be available on a number of personal navigation devices (PNDs), smartphones and game consoles. Nav N Go iGO 8 includes high-resolution spatial navigation maps that include terrain elements, elevated roads, landmarks, and buildings. The new software version will be unveiled at CeBIT 2008 in Hanover at Hall 14, Stand G 14.

Success is ensured by unique features such as easy portability to different hardware and operating systems, high-performance compression technology, and full customization in both user interfaces and workflows.
“Demand for spatial navigation software has skyrocketed in European markets. It is projected that by 2012, 90-95 percent of the devices used in Europe will allow for photographic fidelity, ”said András Fazakas, Chief Operating Officer of Nav N Go. “As a result, both our partners and end users are looking forward to the transition to Nav N Go iGO 8. We hope that the new software will be loved in Hungary as well, at least as much as its predecessor. ”
In addition, Nav N Go will announce its newly formed strategic partnerships with key brands in the navigation market at CeBIT and will present a presentation of these tools at its booth.

Equipped with a built-in music and video player and travel guides, Nav N Go iGO 8 offers a diverse multimedia experience. The interface of Nav N Go iGO 8 is clear, intuitive and easy to use with a “normal” mode for less experienced users and a “professional” mode for more experienced users. The software offers text-to-speech guidance with real city, street and country names.
In order to make this technology easily available to European customers on a wide range of mobile devices, Nav N Go has previously partnered strategically with global companies such as Harman Kardon, LG Electronics, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, QNX Software Systems, Asus Computer GmbH, Clarion Europe GmbH and Pioneer Europe NV.

Nav N Go is pleased to see the launch of the Asus R300 and R700 navigation devices and looks forward to the launch of the PlayStation®Portable with Sony Nav N Go iGO 8 software this spring.
