Experiment with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480: does the egg break or not?
Many people joke about the fact that the new GeForces get so hot that they could comfortably fry eggs on them. Is the warm-up of the GTX 480, for example, really enough for this?
Happy April 1st to everyone! 🙂
If this day is the day of jokes, then this news is really appropriate in my opinion. A "very sane" member on the other side of the world tried to see if it was possible to fry eggs with NVIDIA's new single-GPU flagship. There will certainly be those who will be surprised by the result because they never thought of such a thing, and there will also be those who will say: "I told you so". The third camp will probably be the "not as hot as I expected" group.
The tester ran Heaven during the operation, which really sweats the card well, but still only managed to heat it to 87 degrees which is not enough to make a fried egg yet. After 45 minutes, the eggs began to turn white, but were still not in an edible state.
Then the comments can come now, I am very curious about your opinions 🙂 More beautiful fools day for everyone!
