I was lucky enough to try the Wanbo T2 Max. I love it. Small, light, works well. Of course, the brightness is not crazy anymore and the Android installed on it is a bit creaky, but I still love it, it's still here on my shelf, I didn't have the heart to sell it, even though...
I already have a Wanbo T6 in my living room. Okay, it's bigger, but the brightness is also higher, it has the Android TV operating system, and although it also has its flaws, I still use it to show my sons Bob the Master, and Bob the Train, and Winnie the Pooh and Friends, and of course for myself the cinemas that must be seen on the "big" screen. Now, for example, Elvis will be next, but in the fall, if everything is true, there will be a few more blockbusters, which will make me crunch corn on my sofa, not in the cinema, but next to a big picture diagonal.
However, time passes and it is always appropriate to come up with something new, even at Wanbo. You have applied, and soon we will be able to see the new machine, the T4!
It's a bit strange that the T2 came after the T6 Max (okay, there was also a really good X1!), we could ask why the T4 was left out. Well, I don't think we'll ever get an answer as to why, but the fact is that it just arrived, and if it turns out the way it is, it's easy for the T6 to go, it'll come. Not that the T6 is bad, but if you don't have to pay a lot for it...
The thing is, the Wanbo T4 does a few things that make it very desirable for me. The first is size. The point is that Wanbo engineers have packed the T6's higher brightness into the T2 Max's small housing. In other words, we get a really tiny projector of T2 Max size, which provides the same contrast and brightness as the larger T6. Moreover, I suspect some kind of magic trick, because the T2 Max's weight of 1,4 kilograms has been further reduced, and we only get 1,2 kilograms for this machine. But that's not enough.
The Wanbo T4 offers mouth-watering new features like Wi-Fi 6. I've had a router that knows the new standard for a while now, so I'll love that the data will fly on the wireless network and not drag. We also get an AI (artificial intelligence) controlled automatic focus and even an automatic keystone correction. They reportedly put a six-axis gyroscope in the plane for this stunt.
Well, that's still not all. The replaced Mediatek MT9269, specifically designed for media, has become more powerful than the central unit of its predecessors with four Cortex-A53 cores, and it has 16 GB of storage space, which is still not crazy, but still more than 4 and 8 GB. The completely dust-free (closed) projection system remained, the lens system made entirely of glass remained, and the cooling noise (allegedly) remains below 30 decibels, which promises extreme silence.
The FHD resolution has also remained, although, again based on the factory data, a fairly well-working 4K decoding is also included, so that even the downscaling of higher resolution content results in a nice picture. Speaking of image quality, you shouldn't forget about HDR 10+, which, if it works well, will give you vivid colors.
