Here’s the Xiaomi POCO F2 Pro, worth it

The price of the POCO F2 Pro is hard to call friendly, but it’s not expensive compared to what you know.

It is difficult to classify POCO as one of Xiaomi's devices, since, although the hardware is brutal, it is not even a top phone (the Xiaomi Mi 10 is the top), nor is it a camera phone, since it does not have the current top 108 mega camera, "only" it is 64 megapixels, so in terms of cameras it is much closer to a Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it is not a gaming phone, although its display is huge and without a notch, and it also has a completely redesigned liquid cooling (LiquidCool Technology 2.0).

If you want to classify it somewhere, perhaps the latter category would be appropriate, as you got the current top tile, the Snapdragon 2400-, next to the huge (1080 x 6,67 pixels, 20 inches, 9: 865 aspect ratio) AMOLED display. five, which pushes brutality not only in the processor but also in the GPU, i.e. the graphics accelerator. Beside the system memory, depending on the configuration, it can be 6- or 8 GB, the non-expandable storage capacity is 128 GB (LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1).

Anyway, for me, perhaps the display is the greatest virtue, as the self-contained camera has been given a solution that pops up from the top frame, so there is no camera island or hole, plus the light-sensing sensor has been placed under the glass. The latter thing also points to the fact that slowly what may be will be built under the display, but I can pat my shoulder again because my prediction a year ago came in, as opposed to the miracle castles who say the selfie camera will soon be under the glass. No, still not. However, to keep the 20-megapixel front-panel camera uninteresting, it's now possible to capture 120-frame slow-motion videos (720x slow-motion), albeit only at XNUMXp resolution.

Although the POCO F2 Pro is not Xiaomi's best phone, it is still very close due to the central unit. Although the main camera on the back is "only" 64 megabytes, due to the brutal processing power, 30K video recording is already available in addition to 8 frames, another question is that 99 percent of people probably don't need this. As for the cameras, it is gratifying that last year's 2 Mega macro cameras have already been replaced, so the new devices have 5 Mega units.

What I haven’t talked about yet is the battery, which has a capacity of 4700 mAh, it also has a 33 watt quick charge. We get NFC, it supports essentially all satellite systems, they have a bucket of sensors built in and it is also IP53 certified, which makes it not yet waterproof, but we can already talk about drip resistance.

Speaking of sensors, it is important to mention that the light sensor not only monitors the lighting conditions from the front, but also from the back, so you can adjust the display backlight much more accurately.

Last but not least, it is important to mention that the device is already 5G!

So, the POCO F2 Pro (the Chinese version runs as the Redmi K30 Pro) while not the most powerful in Xiaomi’s offering, it has become a beautiful, powerful, and brutally powerful mobile. The price has to be measured for this, and for mobile phones with similar capabilities to the competition, and if we do, it turns out that the money paid for it is only significant compared to the usual low prices from Xiaom, one of the cheapest Snapdragon 865s on the market right now.
