Samsung has introduced the new SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ 053 module, which equips a new group of connected products with state-of-the-art capabilities. The production-ready SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ 053 module is a high-performance, enhanced security and affordable IoT solution for state-of-the-art next-generation products such as connected home appliances, construction products, healthcare appliances and industrial automation systems. The new SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ 053 module with 320MHz ARM® Cortex® R4 core, 1,4MB RAM, 8MB Flash memory and integrated real-time processing via software and pre-certified Wi-Fi radio receiver significantly reduces development time. The IoT modules in the SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ product family currently available include pre-configured access to the secure services of the SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ cloud platform, as well as software for faster and easier development of new, enterprise, industrial and consumer connected applications.

New features and platform fixes

The SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ platform includes new, fully integrated security enhancements between endpoints, hardware, software and communication devices to provide even more securely connected IoT products and solutions.

SAMSUNG ARTIK's new cloud platform includes fast device addition, edge node management, secure OTA updates, integration with Amazon AWS Kinesis Stream, and new cloud connectors, including Google Assistant on Google Home and Amazon Alexa Smart Home Skillt.

The new SAMSUNG ARTIK ™ QuickStart program offers a wide range of services to cover the full spectrum of product design and development, including integration and development between UX, UI, software, cloud, mobile application and endpoints, as well as sales and It improves the user experience to support the potential of IoT.
