You can read without the Internet with the new Chrome!

The Android version of the browser automatically downloads the most popular news.

The news pages in question appear when you open a new tab. The thing is personalized, as long as we log in to the browser. News will appear even if you don’t sign in, in which case Chrome will use local data.

Chrome has so far downloaded only short testimonials and a small image of these materials, but now they have changed this mechanism - at least in more than 100 regions. Based on the new method, the application automatically downloads all the news material to the user's device if it detects an unlimited Wifi network. By implication, this means that this information will be accessed later without a network.

The feature is now available in the latest stable release of Chrome, you can check the update on the downloads page (picture above). The function cannot be turned off at this time.
