Free iGO software and map update
The free addition to the iGO navigation program can be ideal for those preparing for a holiday, as the update includes new maps of the resorts that are so popular with Hungarians.
What's new in the iGO software update:
- Map update: Hungary (+5000 useful places, repairs), Croatia (repairs), Romania (+5000 useful places, 2 new settlements, repairs)
- New maps: Greece (8000 useful places, 35% coverage), Turkey (34 thousand useful places, 20% coverage), Albania, Serbia-Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria (with main road network only)
The map update for Hungary includes the latest road network changes and a number of changes that make traffic even more convenient.
- New roads: the section of the M6 between Érd and Dunaújváros, the M35 motorway bypassing Debrecen, the 403 road bypassing Nyíregyháza, the bypass part of road 4 bypassing Székely and Berkeszt, the Albertirsa - Tápiószentmárton and the Kemence - Diósjenő connecting road.
- More accurate search: house numbering has been implemented in several settlements, and the inner parts of many cities (55 pieces) have also been completed, and you can search for these as well. You can also search for districts of Budapest as address points.
- More POIs: The database already contains 25045 POIs (useful places). Selective waste collectors (398) and geocaching points (1228) were added as new categories.
- Error reports processed: 4160 of the entries received on the online map error report were corrected.
- In the following 37 cities, all reported errors were corrected and the full map was corrected and updated based on 2005 aerial photos: Ajka, Baja, Balassagyarmat, Cegléd, Csongrád, Devecser, Dunaföldvár, Dunaújváros, Encs, Gödöllő, Gyöngyös, Gyula, Hajdúszoboszló , Hatvan, Hódmezővásárhely, Jászapáti, Jászberény, Jászfényszaru, Kiskunfélegyháza, Kiskunhalas, Kiskunmajsa, Komárom, Körmend, Makó, Nagykőrös, Nagymaros, Nyékládháza, Orosháza, Pásztó, Sárvár,
