It’s no exaggeration, I love this drone, it comes out of the account almost weekly to keep me going!

Hubsan has already produced super machines, but for some reason they did not want to break into the camera platform area. Machines were easy to control, the software beside them was super, the camera was gone. The flight time and range were good, but something was missing from the Hubsan birds, the Gibbs. The camera mounted in the machine body is simply not capable of producing high-quality aerial images, no matter how strong the engines are, no matter how stable the drone is, the camera will still wobble.

The Hubsan Zino, also known as the Hubsan H117S, introduced to us this year has brought us a whole different world. The shape of the machine is based on the hugely popular DJI MAvic drones. With carbon-free motors sitting at the end of the folding arms, the three-axle gimbal placed at the front of the body looks very similar. Of course, there’s a reason for this, it’s not even complicated, it’s just missing some extras.

DJI's more expensive drones are equipped with a lot of sensors. Ultrasonic and optical sensors monitor forwards and downwards, and in the newer version, even to the side, so that the drone detects and tries to avoid obstacles during flight. This comes in handy, for example, if we set it to follow mode between trees, because in this case we are not controlling the machine, it just "comes" after us. Of course, it's good to know that the Mavic isn't foolproof either, it can't see the thinner branches without leaves or the wires stretching above the road.

Hubsan Zino is essentially completely devoid of these sensors. Of course, if you didn't have a single sensor, you wouldn't be able to fly much, so there's a geomagnetic sensor, a gyroscope, and of course GPS, and the software is equipped for object detection through the camera, which you can use in tracking mode. So Hubsan Zino prefers open space and less indoor space due to the lack of sensors. Anyway, the vast majority of us have interests here too, so we can’t call it stupid by any means.

As you can read, for example, there is a way of tracking that we can set to select the object or person to follow on the phone screen. There is a possibility to fly around, in which case it is flipped with a reversed camera towards the selected object. There is a panoramic picture, and a mode called Line Fly, when we are moving away from us, flying with a nailed camera. This is a fairly popular process, and we can see many of these videos on Youtube. In addition, of course, we also find the usual security features, ie if the battery is dipped or loses contact with the remote control, it automatically flies back to the starting point. There is also a route flight, in which case you are flying without a predetermined route.

The drone's physical qualities are also impressive. With a 3000 mAh capacity battery, you can fly more than 20 minutes with a charge. The range of the remote control can be one kilometer in the right environment and with the camera, so if you set yourself in the center, you can go inside a circle of two kilometers in diameter. The speed of the machine, which can reach up to 60 Km / hour in sports mode, helps us. Built into the nose, the balm is three-fingered, so you can make complete vibration-free and ripple-free videos up to 4K at 30 frames per second. This quality is enough for semi-professional or hobby use, perfect for traveling and making vacation videos.

We took out this drone again for two reasons. One is that he got an awful friendly price tag in the late summer shake-up, and the other is that an improved version of the machine has been released, plus it’s still at a reasonable price, roughly $ 100 above the price of the original version. The Zino with the Pro suffix received two major innovations. One is that the range has quadrupled, instead of one we can fly to four kilometers, the other is that the camera filter has become optionally replaceable. The optional thing in this case is that we don’t get extra filters in the package, but they can be purchased and replaced.
