At first glance, we certainly wouldn't assume it, but this smartwatch also has a SIM card slot, so you can make calls and send SMS messages with it independently, even without a phone. The line of unusual phenomena doesn’t stop at this point, despite its penny being a penny, it boasts a circular display, with a 1,54-inch IPS display providing the information. The main screen can be said to be somewhat customizable through the three predefined schemes, of course it provides the usual data: number of steps, exact time, battery status, etc. The housing is made of aluminum, the watch strap is made of silicone (TPU) according to the price category. In our opinion, the choice of colors is quite good, we can choose from the following colors before buying: black, white, blue and pink.

As mentioned above, the Alfawise Y1 can practically function as a mini mobile phone with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 support. This can be surprisingly practical with some imagination, because we can stay available for trips and sports, for example, without having to carry (with a good chance) our baking-sized smartphone, we just have to wear this watch instead! Of course, the Y1 can still connect to our phone using the not-so-current Bluetooth 3.0 standard. With the help of Bluetooth we can synchronize our messages, access the camera, and of course the anti lost function (the clock warns when it is out of detection distance) also uses this communication channel.
