Digitimes said the 1,0 TB copies simply halved in price compared to last year.

There has been an incredibly large price drop on the SSD front 1

The latest post on the portal discusses that at such prices, an SSD of this size could be a “mainstream” device already this year. True, in a 2,5-inch size, we can find a 99 TB SSD around $ 1,0, we don’t even have to reach for the family reserve for models with an M.2 interface (about $ 130). Unsurprisingly, demand is growing steadily, but further price declines are expected due to oversupply.

The memory market also shows a pleasant picture; the 8,0 and 4,0GB DDR4 modules may soon be priced below $ 60 and $ 30. It can be observed that due to Intel's chatter-stumbling, customers turned to AMD, which significantly increased the popularity of memories operating around 3 MHz, and much lower demand for models operating at 200-3 MHz. The reason obviously resides in the memory controller of Ryzen processors, which doesn’t really tolerate wind-fast RAMs.
