Toshiba arrives with three Camileo cameras

Toshiba’s new handheld cameras are small yet recordable in FullHD and feature a 3 ″ swivel touch screen and HDMI output. Here are the Camileo X416, X400 and X200!

The X416 and X400 are capable of 23 × optical and 120 × digital zoom. Both have a 5 megapixel BSI (Backside Illuminated) CMOS sensor and can take 16 megapixel photos with them. In addition, they boast SD / SDHC / SDXC memory card slots, electronic image stabilization and, of course, a built-in stereo microphone. The pinnacle is represented by the X416, which will arrive only on October 10, but will hide a 16-gig SSD, all for $ 320. We can save ourselves time and money by choosing the X400, which is already available, as the model without built-in storage can be taken home for $ 280. However, we would certainly not feel sorry for $ 40 for an SSD.

The more affordable but more modest member of the trio is the X200, which has 12 × optical and 60 × digital zoom, a simple CMOS sensor for 8 megapixel but also 16 MP photos. The electric image stabilizer and stereo microphone are also present here, and the slot can accommodate SD cards. Toshiba and stores are asking $ 230 for it.
