The FOSSiBOT F101 turned out to be quite a strange piece, but it has some undeniable advantages!
The phone runs Android 12 and is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 Quad-core processor clocked at 2,0GHz. This proc won't change the world, but it's suitable for everyday tasks. 7GB of RAM (4GB + 3GB of virtual memory expansion) and 64GB of internal storage are adequate, although virtual memory as such is more marketing than something of real value. If 64 GB is not enough, the storage space can be further expanded with an external TF card of up to 128 GB.
The 5,45-inch TFT-TP LCD display has a resolution of 720*1440 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 77%. These numbers also show that in terms of hardware, this is an entry-level device. The rear camera system includes a 24 MP main camera, a 5 MP macro camera and a 0,3 MP bokeh camera. Perhaps the interesting thing here is that the more expensive Xiaomi phones still have a 2 mega-pixel macro, and here the 5 megapixel was also included in the price. Who understand this?
The battery capacity is the first really interesting data, since 10 mAh and 600W fast charging are data that I can only react to with a wide wave of my hat. Another interesting thing is that the device has IP18 and IP68K as well as MIL-STD-69G military certification, which means it can withstand everything that a modern rugged phone can withstand.
Other features of the phone include VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, side fingerprint sensor, face unlock and OTG.
I left the most interesting for the end, that makes this phone a "music phone". This is none other than the huge speaker on the back. Of course, by huge you mean huge compared to a phone. The manufacturer packed a speaker with a power of 3,5 watts, which is approx. means that we get music with a volume that can be enjoyed even without a Bluetooth speaker.
