COWON has updated its D2 player

The device, named D2+ in an extremely "imaginative" way, promises a better soundstage than its predecessor.

The most significant result of the periodic wrinkle repair is that the D2+ received the "BBE+ Sound" sound improvement technology: thanks to the software process, when playing back digitally compressed audio files, we can experience a significant improvement in the quality of their sound, especially in the higher ranges. The user interface has also undergone a renewal, which now supports touch control in all its elements. For the sake of the latter, of course, the engineers also equipped the device with a touch-sensitive display, which, with its 2,5-inch size, can also be a suitable choice for watching moving images. This time, the enjoyment of watching movies is not limited by the memory capacity either, since the D2+ can handle even 32 GB SDHC cards. Fortunately, the range of files that can be played is not limited to the front of the house, considering that, in addition to popular digital compression methods, COWON's novelty, such as FLAC or APE format, also handles such rarities.

The purchase price of the D4 +, which can be purchased in versions with optional 8, 16 and 2 GB internal storage capacity, is very friendly: in exchange for the largest version, it is expected to ring at 53 thousand forints, but the 4 GB model can be taken for 33 thousand forints. .
