Exclusive - The Xiaomi Viomi V2 Pro robotic vacuum cleaner will be able to handle multiple maps

We rarely have the opportunity to share Xiaomi (Viomi) news with our readers, which has a good chance of not appearing anywhere in the world so far.

One of the most successful products at Gearbest in recent months has been the Xiaomi Viomi V2 Pro robot vacuum cleaner, which is due, among other things (without any hypocrisy), to the test published on our site. As I described back then, in the V2 Pro, essentially all the major bugs of the predecessor model were fixed, making it an almost perfect machine.

At Xiaomina, however, they make sure that their vacuum cleaners do not hit each other in price and capacity, meaning the goal is to fully cover the market with machines of different skills. Today, however, we have information that strongly questions whether it is worth spending much more money on the roborock S6, which is currently Xiaomi’s most advanced machine.

The fact is that the biggest advantage of the roborock S6 compared to the cheaper brands is that it is possible to save more maps in its software. The roborock S6 is thus ideal for multi-storey, possibly level-shifted apartments, because the maps of the levels and the associated settings, such as the separation of the rooms, remain in the memory. Well, if my information today is real (and why not), we will soon get a software update for the Xiaomi Viomi V2 Pro that will allow the vacuum cleaner to store 5 different maps in its memory.

This is super news for me too, because hopefully I will need this knowledge in a few months, but I suspect I’m not alone with that. What’s even good news is that an additional $ 10 was released this week from the price of the vacuum cleaner, which means we’re getting it again at the same price as in January with a coupon. Delivery from the warehouse in Germany is also left, so you can have the machine with you within a week after ordering!
