Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 arrives

Rob Mauceri, senior program manager at Internet Explorer, announced that the first preview will be completed in mid-November.

This version will serve the purpose of giving programmers more feedback about Internet Explorer 10, allowing the final version to behave more securely on Windows 7. According to the announcement, the program will have the same capabilities and functions as the Windows 8 (desktop) version. The latter broadly means to users that Internet Explorer 10 is significantly better at supporting modern web standards than its predecessor, has a faster JavaScript engine, and renders web pages more agile.

So fans can rejoice, Windows 7 will get the latest version of Internet Explorer in the foreseeable future, thus (somewhat) catching up with the competition.
