Introductory

Most of my articles are written about things that I buy and use myself. That is, we can say first hand, from a user to you, to potential future users. Well, this article won't be like that.

I even wrote about an electric pump in the spring (which I have been using regularly ever since), I didn’t even plan to buy another because I’m happy with it. But, at the beginning of the summer, the postman rang and pressed an elongated package into my hand, which I had no idea what could be.

As it turned out, it was an electric pump. What happened was that the manufacturer came across my article and decided to send a pump to compare it to others. Well, I did.

So this article will be a comparison of two products on the one hand, and the use of my own pump on the other. That is, for what and how I use the pump, is it worth buying one, and if so, who might need it.

Enusic CZK-3660 - that is, the pump

Let’s see first what the test subject knows on paper.

Well, a little bigger, a little heavier than my own pump, but mostly a completely different shape. While it's a rectangle, it's a cylinder. It is 24 inches long and 6 inches in diameter, so it fits not only in the trunk but even in an average glove compartment.

It’s not ideal for me because I also ride a motorcycle and I was already looking for something I could put on the bike under the seat. It doesn’t fit me, but of course it also depends on the engine type. The point is, if you have such a need, weigh it first so you don’t get disappointed later.

The pumping capabilities, i.e. the magnitude of the maximum pressure that can be produced, are essentially the same for all similar structures. This is exactly 150PSI / 10.3BAR / 990KPA / 10.5KG / CM.

I give the data this way because the structure can be alternated from these four units.

There is also some data that, as it turns out to me, is not usually provided by manufacturers. I don’t know if it’s just modesty, or simply not a value that could flash. What is certain, however, is that Enusic binds to our noses that its pump works at 25 liters per minute, meaning it can push that much air through the pipe.

Anyway, the manufacturer writes 12 watts to the motor at 80 volts, which is not a small amount, not least because of its size. During operation, the noise is less than 80 decibels. That’s true, by my own measurement, it’s not 80 either, but it’s still not soft. Of course, this is a pump, if all is true, you will not use it in the bedroom at night.

So far, all values are quite average. However, there is some data that catches the eye, and that is battery capacity. Instead of the usual 2400-2500 mAh, a unit with a capacity of 7800 mAh was packed into this stuff, which is specifically three times the size of the competitors.

This bazi big battery makes one wonder if we shouldn’t choose this from the huge offer. This is only because, according to the factory data, this capacity is needed to inflate two average car wheels (195/55 R15).

The large battery has another very good feature, even that we can even use the device as an external battery to charge our phone.

Okay, what else do you know?

Essentially nothing. It has a rubber tube, the end of which can be connected to a normal car valve, there are two other ends, one for the balls for the other mattress (or dinghy), and at the end there is an LED that functions as a flashlight.

That is essentially knowledge.

What can we use it for?

Well, then now come some hands-on experience!

I have so much extra on my own pump that in addition to the unit of pressure, we can also set what we want to inflate. Ball, bicycle, car or motorcycle tire. This knowledge when I bought pumpkins seemed good, but then practice shows that it is an absolutely meaningless thing.

Between the different profiles, of course, something doesn’t change to blow the pump air. It’s just that you can set four maximum pressure values for the four profiles and then turn off when the pump has reached it.

Well, I had to realize that after the initial rehearsals, I never again looked at what profile was being set up.

I pumped a car wheel with it, several times a bicycle wheel, once my engine tires, and several times a week my guys rubber ball. So I use it. I turn it on, then when the pressure reaches the desired value, I turn it off. Slussz.

Of course, there may be times that someone will benefit from the four preset values.

And why did I write this down? Because the Enusic pump does not have preset profiles. When you turn it on, you can set a value in advance, but it doesn't save it.

So if someone feels that they will need to pre-set the value, then don’t buy this pump!

My experience also includes that although at first I thought I’d keep it in the car, it didn’t happen that way in the end. Once upon a time, there was a pressure drop in one of the wheels, but just when I left a gas station, so I missed that I didn’t have it either.

I don't use it on the bike either, because in the current pandemic period I didn't go on a longer hike e.g. to the Alps, where it would have made sense to pack.

On the other hand, I use it quite often at home. Of course, the situation is special for me, they come e.g. test bikes, I have to blow them, rarely my own. However, my guys also have little kids ’bikes, they are constantly under pressure as the dozens of balls have to be blown up all the time.

It was no accident that I described in the factory data that the battery would be enough to inflate two average wheels. This is because with most pumps, the maximum available pressure can be enough for even a light-duty wheel, but maximum when the pressure needs to be replenished. If you need full inflation, you will need to buy a pump with a much larger capacity.

Unless you buy the Enusic CZK-3660, because with the 7500 mAh battery it can be used on a completely flat wheel. Of course, this will not inflate the wheel of a bus either.

However, as my example shows, I see much, much more benefit from the pump at home than in the car. Of course, your man chooses who will use it where.

Sum it!

Here is this Enusic CZK-3660, which I am sure will not stay with me. It’s not like it’s not good, but I feel like having a second pump like this at home. So someone will get it as a gift.

It won’t be right for me because of its size, but it would be plenty good anyway because of its abilities. The maximum pressure values are more than enough for a home use, a car. With a large battery, it has a long operating time and can be used as a flashlight or an external battery.

We can inflate the bike or motor wheel with it, or even balls or mattresses. Due to its size, it can fit in a glove box or even a beach bag. So especially useful.

I haven’t mentioned one thing yet, though that can also be a crucial argument when buying, and that’s the price of the pump. If you use the BGInflator51 coupon code, you can buy it from Banggood's Chinese warehouse with duty-free * (IOSS) delivery for around HUF 10, and this already includes the cost of delivery.

* Of course, we do not take it duty-free, the price of the product includes VAT and everything else, we have to pay 399 forints electronically to the post office as a customs clearance fee, but sometimes we even get away with it.

This is a saving of 2000-3000 HUF compared to the competing solutions in the basic tone, but for some more famous pieces the price difference can reach up to 5000 HUF.

So, if you feel you would benefit from such a structure at home, feel free to buy it, if only because you can buy at Banggood on exactly the same terms now as before July 1st.
