First of all, I will recommend 3 bicycles to your attention, but I need to discuss them in a little more detail so that you understand the importance of the matter. At least with regard to the first two, but the third, and precisely because of the first two, was included in the article, but for a completely different reason.

Well, I won't complicate it. So it looks like, as I have already written several times, last year I received a super bicycle with a pedal sensor. With hydraulic brakes, hydraulic shock absorption, and a terribly smooth pedal sensor drive. It was the pinnacle of pedal-sensing bikes, and because of that, I thought about where we could improve from here. And I realized that nowhere. A bike with a pedal sensor can't get any better than that.

And this is where the idea got stuck, if there is nowhere to develop the pedal sensor machines, then the torque sensor must come!

There were two very important differences between the expensive Western electric bikes and the cheap Eastern electric bikes. The expensive machines were mid-motor, torque-sensing solutions, the cheap ones were brain-motor, pedal-sensing. So, when the Chinese start producing the mid-engine, torque-sensing machines, from then on, they file for the expensive Western machines. Of course, there will be those who will buy a Harley Davidson electric bike for two or three thousand just to prove the name or the thickness of their wallet, but there will not be many.

Well, this year it seems that the Chinese cheap bikes have started to change. There have already been several cheap bikes with torque sensors, and there have also been mid-engine bikes, albeit with a pedal sensor. But the point here is that there are two bikes with torque sensors on the market (even brain-powered bikes) that turned out to be damn good, mainly, but not only, because of the low prices.

I tested one of the bikes myself, made a video about it, and have been using it ever since. Cheap and very pleasant. I'm not saying it's flawless, but you can see for yourself if you read my article and watch my video about it.

Eskute Netuno Plus electric bike

The second bike, which I haven't had yet, but I hope will, is called the ONESPORT OT05. This year I was able to try a ONESPORT bike, but this OT5 is something completely different. One of the famous domestic portals has already tested it, the article hasn't come out yet, but according to my information, they found that this OT5 is perhaps the best Chinese bike they've had so far. And since it is a XNUMX-year-old portal that takes care of correct information, I believe that if they say so, then it is so!

The OT5 is more expensive than the Eskute Netuno Plus, but it also gives you more. If possible, a higher-quality frame, a factory luggage rack, a rear light connected to the electrical system, correct fenders and, of course, a battery hidden in the frame await the buyers.

I really really hope that I will be able to try it, I was very curious about it because, if everything I heard about it is true, then this bike could be the top of the year, and it could also be the top of the rear hub motor but torque sensor solutions.

If this happens, we will once again be at the point where there will be no room for improvement from here. And if there is no room for improvement, what will happen next year or in a year and a half at the latest?
