ELEGLIDE T1 and STEP-THRU electric bike for ladies and gentlemen
Here is the new generation, separate bike design for ladies as well.
I've had an Eleglide scooter before, but not a bike yet, but hopefully I'll be able to meet one of these someday, because more and more exciting two-wheelers are coming from the manufacturer. For example, there are the T1 twins, the ELEGLIDE for T1 and the T1 STEP-THRU, which are essentially the same, except for one huge thing.
The drivetrain is the same for both bikes. Both have 36 volt and 12,5 aH batteries. The gearbox on both is a 7-speed Shimano, there are two disc brakes, the motor is 250 watts on them (in them), and with this we can go up to 100 kilometers in pedal mode, of course according to the factory data. But this, in this case, may even be close to true, I will write why later.
The maximum load capacity for both bikes is 120 kilograms, and we get IPX4 water resistance, which unfortunately should be mentioned as a positive, because we can't find any water resistance mark on many bikes. What I haven’t mentioned is that the wheel size is 27,5 inches and most importantly, the front wheel damping is hydraulic and lockable. The latter is interesting if we drive on good quality asphalt.
The difference between the ELEGLIDE T1 and the T1 STEP-THRU is the design of the frame! The one thing is that we finally get the battery hidden in the frame, which makes the electric drive much less conspicuous, more importantly, while the ELEGLIDE T1 is made for men, the T1 is made for STEP-THRU ladies. The frame is classically designed for the top with braces (men) or without braces (ladies). The latter is understandably important for ladies who might be cycling in a skirt.
I’ll be honest, I don’t understand why I had to wait so long for a bike made specifically for ladies. These existed in the more expensive category, but not among the affordable Chinese models. The point is, you already have ELEGLIDE T1 STEP-THRU!
I wrote above about the range that the data provided may even be true. I dare write this because the factory figures are for people weighing 70 to 75 pounds and for a flat trip, while for us, most men are more serious individuals. For ladies, however, 70 to 75 pounds is not an extremely low weight, so they meet this part of the test criteria. The ELEGLIDE T1 STEP-THRU is made for them, so the specified range of 100 Km can be approximately true.
In the end, the price is as usual. I would add to the price that I wouldn't say these are low, but I visited Decathlon at the weekend and saw such bicycle prices for products without electric drives that I searched the state. It's been a long time since I looked at a bicycle in a domestic store. As an addendum, I would like to mention that the price of the T1 has even decreased since last year, which is quite surprising considering the price increases seen around the world.
