As is well known, the Greens have recently decided to make the technology available on video cards that are not architecturally developed in this spirit, but are still able to run the process, in order to spread radiation tracking as soon as possible - the other question is how fast . In light of the above, in addition to the RTX controllers released so far, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, GTX 1660, GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1070 Ti, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 6 GB are now DXR capable, as well as Pascal and Volta based TITAN also joined the club. Since in the absence of dedicated hardware (RT cores), CUDA processors are responsible for performing the tasks associated with beam tracking, the Greens say we should not be surprised to see a significant slowdown after arming DXR. Opening up DXR may be exciting for later games, as they may be able to implement a compromise implementation that gives users some taste of beam tracking while making the playable tempo available.
