The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 gets a rough update
Xiaomi Pocophone F1 was launched as the cheapest Snapdragon 845 chipset phone.
Its capabilities were already extremely good anyway, because at the time, the SP845 was the most powerful mobile processor. Xiaomi, on the other hand, saved on other things, so the cover, for example, evokes cheaper phones, and let’s face it, no one was fainting from the cameras either. This is also why the announcement made by Pocophone India CEO Manmohan Chandolu is surprising.
According to its announcement, with the next major update (MIUI 10.3.4.0.PEJMIXM), the phone will have three significant capabilities. One is AI camera modes, the other is Game Turbo mode, which is game acceleration, and the third is 4K / 60 FPS shooting. The latter is really interesting because we rarely come across a case where a software update gets such a serious fix, usually affecting the capabilities of the hardware as well.
