Do it yourself in mouse Ninox mode!

Do it yourself in mouse Ninox mode!

The Astrum is their third but probably their most special rodent.

Do it yourself in mouse Ninox mode!

The featherweight, modular mouse (70-75 grams depending on the configuration) is available to users in 13 different configurations, so we can say that it opens up a whole new dimension of customizability! The latter is not an exaggeration at all, since e.g. we can choose to have the side button wall available on both sides, only on the left or right side, or even remove it if required.

For those who aren’t even convinced, we’ll tell you that with three-dimensional printing, we can equip the mouse with even more unique pieces - the schemes are planned to be provided by the community.

Another interesting feature of the Astrum is that the PixArt PMW 3360 sensor (12 DPI, 000m / s tracking) can be controlled not only by software, but can also be varied (moved forwards or backwards) with a few movements.

Based on what you have seen, there will be no complaints about the quality, the following information was revealed from the video above:

  • Teflon (PTFE) slide base
  • the main switches have 90 million clicks, the life of the scroll wheel is 50 million scrolls
  • “Extreme” flexible cable
  • RGB LED lighting (can be adjusted without software at basic level)
  • utility for fine tuning: macros, profiles, LEDs, advanced sensor settings, etc.

The development of Ninox Astrum is already in the finish line, but another successful crowdfunding campaign would be needed to complete the work. Fundraising starts tomorrow at Indiegogo, we are supporting the project for our part!
