Dell has upgraded its Latitude ST tablet processor to Core i5

Dell has upgraded its Latitude ST tablet processor to Core i5Although not even the tablet based on the Oak Trail platform has been completed, Dell has replaced the processor with a Core i5, so we can expect a real brutal Windows tablet in October.

The Latitude ST will measure 270 × 186 × 14,2 millimeters, with a 10-inch touch-controlled Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, or FullHD. Weighing in at 896 grams, the mini comes with 4GB of RAM, a 64/128 gig SSD, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1,3 MP front camera. There will be no shortage of connections, as in addition to the 802.11 b / g WiFi module (don't you really get WiFi n, dear Dell?), There is Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, microSD, mini VGA, HDMI, two USB ports for high expectations placed on a tablet. The 5500 mAh battery will deliver 8 hours of operation as promised. We know that the manufacturer has scheduled the release for October, but we do not have information about the planned price. In terms of hardware, it will definitely be more expensive than Apple’s iPad or Android tablets.
