After the Blitzfolf V2, the V3 is here, and it will sound at least as good as its predecessor!
Its weight will be barely one kilogram, and its dimensions are 165 x 128 x 66 millimeters, so the BlitzWolf V3 is really not a large structure. I know in advance that many people will be upset when they see the specification, but I will tell you why this machine is not bad!
The resolution of the V3 is 720p, i.e. plain HD, but of course it also supports the 1080p signal source, in which case the received material is downscaled. The image consists of 1280 x 720 pixels, the luminous flux is 250 ANSI, the manufacturer indicates 5000 lumens for the lamp (LED). The expected lifetime of the LED is 50 hours, which means that it can operate continuously for approximately 000 years. In actual use, this is roughly the lifetime plus one day.
It has 2,4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, but it's only for screen mirroring, because we don't get Android here. There's also Bluetooth (5.0), which is for the usual stuff like getting audio out to an external device like a soundbar or headphones. Of course, the focus is not automatic, but manual, the only thing that can hurt a little is the lack of distortion elimination, so we will only be able to project by eye.
Okay, so before you start complaining, I'll describe the price: 86 dollars (~30 HUF). If you look at today's projector prices, you will notice how much they have risen compared to one and a half years ago. Just as much as the price of any other product. There is obviously a global inflationary factor here, raw materials, transportation, etc. have become more expensive. etc. etc. Plus, there is the peculiar domestic situation with the weak HUF. So the situation is not rosy.
Returning to the price of projectors, it can be stated that a 720p projector for HUF 30 simply does not exist. This price level is the territory of absolute entry-level projectors with 480p resolution these days. So the BlitzWolf V3 will definitely not be a good offer for those looking for 1080p or 4K projectors, but for those who have only been able to afford a 480p projector until now.
The fact that, based on the specifications, this machine is not bad in terms of projection capabilities is just icing on the cake. 250 ANSI is the track of Wanbo T2 MAX and Wanbo X1, which we like very much, and that is why we are willing to pay much more for them than the price of V3. And as a final argument, let's not forget that this is a very small projector that we can easily take with us. So look at this machine through such glasses, and there will be no room for grumpiness right away.
BlitzWolf V3 is not available yet, official sales start on March 10th. Until then, you can prepare and view the machine here:
