We start each house show with the exterior. Luckily, Fulmo also has something to say, as there are plenty to see. The entire cover is black, be it plastic or metal parts. The only exception is the double stripe running through the front and roof, which is made of plastic and has been given a silver color. A big logo ducts to the big house, it would go to the front of a car as a brand.
The first thing that immediately stands out is that the makers have accommodated an awful lot of fans and even incorporated several pieces. A 23 on the cover !!! centis venti is built and another place is designed. Mounted on the side panel opposite the motherboard tray, we get two 18-centimeter airships, but if that weren’t enough, we still have the option of installing two more. A “small” 14-centimeter piece was built into the back panel, while an additional 18-centimeter piece was placed in the front panel.
The listing has been going on for a long time, but seeing these plenty of fans is really bustling, plus not only because of the number of pieces, but also because of the size. Anyone who doesn’t have enough of this cooling won’t have to beep either, as you’ll find rubberized openings on the back to install the liquid cooling.
In order for so many fans to do their job, it is essential that the house is well ventilated. Examining the exterior, we can see that the bottom panel, the cover and the front panel are also fully open, more precisely, they are only closed to the outside world by a grid, so for our renitent pets, the house can also function as a prison. We also mentioned the side fans and their size. After a brief countdown, it turns out that a 36 × 36 centimeter vent is required on the side of the housing to accommodate the four vent locations. Pestically speaking, it doesn't stumble, the window is so big that Mother Holle could happily shake her quilt through it!
Of course, every story is good if there is a click in the end. Well, here it will be, since the motherboard tray is open under the processor, and we can screw in a 12-centimeter fan there, and we can also cool the hard disks with two 14-centimeter air vents. Although they claim that a lot has gone well, I think cooling is never enough. Even if we don’t take full advantage of the possibilities, we may need some extra cooling breezes in the house over the years, but also the arrival of the 20 × 20 mobile air conditioners that we will be able to install in the meantime. to be increased. There will also be no problem with noise, as in this case it is not 9 cm spins that split the air. Large fans result in large blades, the large size of the blades results in high air delivery even at low revs, of course with low noise.
All right, swing over the fans, let's see what kind of connectors we can find on the outside of the cover!
A basic requirement for a computer case is to have USB connectors, audio I / O, and possibly e-SATA near the front panel, but at least in an easily accessible place, so that we can easily connect a hard drive.
Fortunately, but not surprisingly, Fulmo also fully meets these criteria. Since the house is huge, in addition, a wheel mounted on the bottom is unlikely to stand on a table. If you are not standing at a table, the best place for connectors is the top of the housing. It seems natural that after such a simple logical tracing, the connectors are actually found where they should be logically. We have already seen a crow, that is, a USB connector located in the most idiotic place, where on the one hand we would not even look for it, and on the other hand, if we do, we can only connect anything with great difficulty. In short, the connectors in this case are exactly where they need to be.
Before the first long circular sentences, we have already indicated what kind of connectors are likely to appear. The Fulmo GT has all the mentioned gates! It also has four USB 3.0, one e-SATA, headphone output and microphone input. Of course, in the case of a full extra house, this is not enough! Enermax engineers also placed a fairly simple SATA dock on the cover, where we can connect internal hard drives without any tricks. However, we would also have a small criticism of this. We don’t really understand what will prevent metal parts of a hard drive slid on plastic from plowing Mariana trench depth flares. It is guaranteed that for the first time we will ugly crimp the surface that forms the bottom of the dock.
