ASUS Releases Essence III with Preamplifier, USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier
ASUS has announced its Essence III, a fully balanced USB to Digital Analog (DAC) converter capable of Direct Stream Digital (DSD) playback for those who want the clearest sound quality and flexible music listening capabilities.
Highly precise clock signals and asynchronous USB virtually eliminate jitter (scattering of digital signals), and separate digital, analog, and power circuit boards ensure that Essence III transmits sounds crystal-clear, without crosstalk.
The remote-controlled volume control, controlled by a stepped damper, allows you to adjust the output levels very precisely - even from the other side of the room if necessary. Careful design and the use of high-end components result in perfect balance and top-quality sounds.
