AOC has introduced entry-level B2 series, three-sided frameless monitors
The AOC introduces three new entry-level monitors in the person of the new members of the B2 series.
A 21,5-inch (54,7 cm), 23,8-inch (60,4 cm) and 27-inch (68,6 cm) display models in all three cases, frameless design on all three sides, Full HD resolution (1080p), ultra-thin profile and are equipped with a VESA console. The monitors allow wide viewing angles (178 °) for a consistent color experience from all angles. The 21,5-inch model (22B2H) is equipped with a VA panel, while the 23,8-inch 24B2XH and 27-inch 27B2H IPS panels were given. With VGA and 1.4 HDMI inputs, various devices can be easily connected. All three models are suitable for users looking for a basic and cost-effective screen.
Despite the entry level and affordable pricing, these monitors have a frameless design on three sides, which means that the edge of the panel blends into the coffee, creating the impression of a floating image. This extremely sleek design allows for a multi-monitor setup that increases productivity without annoying coffees.
All three models in the B2 series have both VGA and HDMI inputs and a headphone output. Accordingly, older computers using VGA can also be connected to them, modernizing them with excellent displays. In addition, modern devices such as desktops or laptops, DVD or Blu-ray players, game consoles and more can be easily connected using HDMI.
And the features don’t end here: the B2 Series also uses flicker-free (FlickerFree) technology, which uses DC to eliminate flicker instead of pulse width modulation (PWM) when adjusting brightness levels. This prevents the headaches and eye strain that are often caused by flickering images. In addition, LowBlue mode reduces potentially harmful blue light emissions from the screen, reducing eye strain in the late evening and poor lighting conditions.
