ASUS sculpture competition in the candy store

Before anyone thinks I’ve left home or my medicine has run out, I say no, I feel good, even if the headline of the news doesn’t suggest that.

On Thursday, prominent members of the press have a SUGAR! were official for ASUS ’last press conference this year. As a first step, I would have gone to Sugár in Örs Vezér Square, but then I noticed that the location was in the VI. is in the district, so then I got a map and found it there in time.

The press conference started as similar events usually begin. What was unusual was that the rapporteur disrupted what I had to say in a matter of moments, and I asked myself what else we were going to do in the next plenty of hours. The rest of the program was soon revealed, but before I talk about it, I'll post some pictures of the new features!

After the presentation, the company present was divided into teams of three. Each team drew an envelope. We then learned that there is a photograph in the envelope, and what we see in the photograph must be formatted by us, namely from marzipan. The thing sounded good, until it turned out that the hardest task was for our team. A motherboard had to be made of marzipan.

I don’t want to brush up on the complexity of the task, we had a lot of fun shaping the capacitors, buttons and pegs, and the end result can be seen here.

Anyway, this sculpture was not without reason, it was needed because of a brilliant marketing idea. He did not win the sculpture competition, but the entries were posted on the ASUS Facebook page, where you can like them based on the pictures. The work that gets the most votes wins, but we don’t know what.

So whoever likes it, go to the ASUS Facebook page and press a vote on the motherboard. If we accidentally win, I will write down what the prize was. Of course, I don't see much chance for that, but I don't think that's the point. The important thing is that we managed to spend a few hours in a good mood, while eating and drinking delicious, something we could say goodbye to each other for this year.
