Introductory
As we have for years, this year we order a lot from foreign stores. I’m not going near a mall for the third year now before Christmas, and I’m not shopping at a home web store for the second year. It’s not like it’s cool, there are simple practical reasons for it, I like to shop cheaply so I can buy more gifts from the Christmas frame.
I consider myself an experienced web shopper, so I will start hunting for good prices from the beginning of October. I know you need to think well in advance when ordering from a Chinese warehouse, because delivery can be delayed around Christmas. If I want to be sure, I’m no longer ordering a gift after the 11.11 promotions, although I’ve been lucky so far, so even things ordered on Black Friday have come in recent years, though there was something on the last work day before the holiday.
So the point is, if you want the gift to arrive for sure, you are no longer ordering from China! Does that mean you slipped off their cheap gadgets? Not even by accident, there is a simple solution!
Buy from a European warehouse
Larger Chinese stores, so my favorite GearBest, are opening more and more stores in the European Union. There were only two English warehouses two years ago, now In the Czech Republic, In Poland, In Italy, In Spain, In France and In Portugal there is also a warehouse and there are even several within a country.
European warehouses have several advantages. The first thing to mention is duty and VAT free shipping. There is already a solution for this from China, a mode of transport called Priority Line. What is certain, however, is that the free movement of goods within the Union is guaranteed, which means that if, for example, a goods arrives in a Spanish warehouse, the trader clears them there, pays the tribute, so we do not have to deal with it after ordering!
The other very important aspect is the duration of the delivery. Generally, delivery time from EU warehouses is 2-7 working days. This means that in most cases you will have the ordered goods with us within a week of ordering!
There is one more important thing, and that is the size of the stock. By opening so many warehouses, the amount of stock stationed in Europe has increased brutally. It is becoming less common, and most common with new products, to be available only from a Chinese warehouse. The increase in inventory had another advantage, a significant advantage. Prices are getting lower. I have noticed several times this year that certain items are downright cheaper in EU warehouses than in China. Even if there is a price difference in favor of the Chinese warehouse, it is minimal in most cases.
However, there is also a negative that should not be forgotten. Interestingly, shipping within Europe is more expensive than ordering from China. This is because the Chinese government is also helping imports from domestic traders by taking over most of the cost of parcel delivery. For this reason, while the delivery of a product from China is free, it can cost thousands of forints within the EU.

Popular products in GearBest's Czech and Polish warehouses
I couldn’t stand myself and asked for a list of what products were sold out in recent weeks from the two warehouses closest to us. I always trust that a lot of people can’t go wrong, it’s no coincidence what’s popular and what’s not. So, the list below will be completely mixed in terms of product range as well as price, simply these products have sold out the most.
Czech warehouse - Fast-23
The warehouse in the Czech Republic is the closest to us geographically. The bad news is that due to certain shipping issues, we can’t buy products more than $ 200 from here, so quite a few current products fall out of the virtual cart. However, there are plenty of other interesting things, these, as I will try to collect in groups at the warehouse in Poland. As I wrote above, these products also performed in an upscale place in the popularity competition, one of the reasons being that they are not, or only very slightly, more expensive than those from China.
Very importantly, the number of products is declining very quickly due to Christmas shopping, so you may still have widgets available when you write your article when you no longer have them in stock. In this case, be sure to choose a warehouse called Fast, if there is one, otherwise you are unlikely to receive the product before Christmas!
Smart lights
With Xiaomi, we tend to see data on the rate at which smart home hardware sales are growing, and it’s no exaggeration to say the expansion is amazing. This is due to ever lower prices and increasingly advanced systems with which we are able to create quite complex systems without any kind of training.
Anyone who starts building a smart home most often starts working by lighting up. It can also be understood as a kind of wing test, it is certain that we can achieve a literally spectacular change in our home quickly and easily.
The warehouse in the Czech Republic currently has quite a few lamps, ceiling and table lamps as well, so if you break your head on such “cleverness” that you surprise someone for Christmas with a smart lamp, you won’t be late for anything!
Robotic vacuum cleaners
One of the biggest hits of this year was the smart vacuum cleaner, at least from the sales data we conclude this. Unfortunately, the more advanced models are not available from the Czech warehouse due to the goods, but the extremely popular iLife versions are available for purchase. These, while not so smart in return, are really cheap, so much so that the goods rival those of a traditional cordless vacuum cleaner.

Home appliances / smart devices
I tried to give some summary name to these products, which is why everything from the window washer robot to the smart scale came here. What they have in common is that they were among the most popular products, so maybe they deserve a little attention!
3D printers
In addition to robotic vacuum cleaners, 3D printers were also able to kick a ball. Of course, they don’t play on the same pitch, but according to sales figures, they’re quite popular. Perhaps this is because goods have plummeted this year, with some desktop, entry-level models now costing just as much as an inkjet printer.
Importantly, these are not industrial equipment, they print slowly. On the other hand, I think it can be a very useful gift for a teenager who is interested in IT. Not only because you have to assemble the printer yourself, but also because you can create 3D objects using the included or downloadable programs. In addition, of course, you can print out your favorite comic book hero or other more useful things, only your imagination can set a limit to the creative mind.
TV boxing
Or also known as TV smart. These are devices running Android, some with “traditional” Android, others with Android TV software. Essentially, we get an Android smartphone using these, to which we can transfer multimedia content, movies, YouTube content and much more from our desktop computer, notebook or even phone. For example, I watch the series on HBO GO like this, that is, I start playing the movie on the phone more precisely and send the movie to the TV via the box. What’s not enough is that you can even use such a device instead of a game console, as you can use a Bluetooth controller to play your favorite Android games on your TV.

Projectors
Maybe you don’t have to explain too much who wants to watch movies on a bigger diagonal and don’t have millions on a giant TV that will dock at projectors. They’re cheap, though they’re really just good for moving with them in a darkened apartment, they won’t trigger TV.

Drones
The various multi-propeller flying devices have undergone amazing development in recent years. By now, we’ve gotten to the point where all the cheap pieces are able to float in one place or even follow us. But that's not the point, these are interesting and good things, but more importantly, even quite simple drones are able to get on and off at the touch of a button, or more or less independently return to the starting point of the flight.
Action cameras
I recommend two oats from the warehouse in the Czech Republic. The first has one of the best value for money coefficients, while the second is the cheapest truly 4K capable camera currently available. I also wrote an article about the latter, and while it turns out that no miracle can be done for this price, it is also possible to produce a camera for less than $ 60 that bears the 4K sticker not only as an ornament, but as a real capability.

smart Clock
Even before the more serious spread of smartwatches, there are fewer and fewer obstacles. We finally get hardware at an affordable price that can meet our expectations for watches. They’re getting prettier, they know more and more, so if you don’t stick to watches with a traditional watch structure, you might want to consider getting a smart watch.

Polish warehouse - Fast-08
The warehouse in Poland is open after the Czech, a little further from us. The stock is large - of course it is rapidly declining due to Christmas - the delivery is also fast from here, and of course we do not have to pay VAT or customs. The only thing against a warehouse in Poland is that transportation is relatively expensive. So if you can do it, choose the Czech warehouse, but if you’re looking for stuff more than $ 200, stay at the Polish warehouse, you can’t do much else.
Home appliance, smart device
As in the previous chapter, this has become a mixed category. I packed the most popular smart scales, smart toothbrushes here, but here’s the Xiaomi razor, the one I currently use at home.

More expensive cameras, such as various structures from SJCAM, have been placed in storage in Poland. We bought quite a lot of them, which is no coincidence, they are quite usable hardware and the goods are in the affordable category. Car-motorcycle gadgets
The title says it all, I’ve put together the top five widgets. These include car and motorcycle stuff. One kind of helmet speaker is already waiting for spring on my shelf, or for me to write an article about it, the Roidmi car gadget, more specifically its older version has been in service in the car for a long time (by the time I wrote the article sold out).

Phone
There are no phones in the warehouse in the Czech Republic, or maybe there are no phones anymore, but we can still find them in Poland. From the above, it can be seen that there is still plenty on offer, although as I wrote the stock varies from minute to minute and unfortunately not in our favor.
