The best Redmi stuff - it's also Xiaomi just cheaper

The best Redmi stuff - it's also Xiaomi just cheaper

The Xiaomi promised the Redmi brand of quality, but well-sold products will be a place not lied.

The best Redmi stuff - it's also Xiaomi just cheaper

Introductory

This story may have started sometime last year when Xiaomi unveiled a phone called the Pocophone F1. The principle was simple, packing the most powerful hardware possible into a cheap house, carving a little here and there so the whole thing didn’t cost much. Today, we know that the Pocophone has become a clear success, so we were looking forward to the sequel, which came in the form of a complete sub-brand, not another Poco phone. This became Redmi.

At Xiaomi, it was said at the outset that Redmi will be a collective brand for cheaper products, products where Xiaomi’s quality isn’t let down, but there’s a lack of premium material choices, for example. However, the production costs saved in this way do not fill the company's pocket, this is what we, the customers, will receive.

Now you can see that the company isn’t kidding because Redmi products are coming out in a row that both look good and know a lot, yet are cheaper than their counterparts running under the old name. In this article, we want to introduce you to some fresh Redmits, with a purchase option, of course, so that you too can get them cheaply.

Xiaomi Redmi Airdots Bluetooth Headset

Xiaomi Redmi AirDots Bluetooth Wireless Headset - Black

Xiaomi offers us two plug-in Bluetooth earbuds blessed with good capabilities, but they cost double and triple the version released under the Redmi name. Of course, cost reduction can be achieved here as well, for example, the battery of the dock is smaller, but the essential parts have not changed. What’s left is the DSP chip, which is responsible for noise-free, clear sound, what’s left is Bluetooth 5 technology, which ensures a seamless connection between the headset and the phone, and of course it does so sparingly.

Xiaomi Redmi AirDots Bluetooth Wireless Headset - Black

Redmi Airdots have the capabilities that a modern earpiece should have. Small, light and comfortable. The holder box with the built-in battery, in which the batteries are charged by inserting the earbuds, could not be left out either. So the point is there, and the quality, even though the price is only a fraction of the products marketed under the Xiaomi name, is perfect.

Of course, we also have a discount coupon for the Redmi Airdots earpiece, which allows us to reduce the original $ 32,89 price to $ 18,99, or roughly $ 6000.

Xiaomi Redmi phones

The phones released under the name Redmi are neatly put together into a bouquet, but in the end you get a coupon for everything, you don’t have to worry!

Anyone familiar with Xiaomi products knows that the name Redmi first appeared on phones. At that time, not yet as a separate brand, because at that time, mobiles arriving at the entry level still belonged to the Redmi family. This meant that anyone looking for a cheap phone was guaranteed to choose Redmi.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 4G Phablet 6.26 inch Android 9.0 Qualcomm 632 Octa Core 1.8GHz 3GB RAM 32GB ROM 12.0MP + 2.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 3900mAh Built-in- Black

The situation has changed nowadays to the extent that we have to interpret cheapness as a relative concept. That is, let’s always say it’s cheaper than… Because there are now quite expensive pieces among Redmi phones, which in turn are still cheap compared to their competitors, at least in their own category.

However, there are also cheaper handsets, and Xiaomi blew up the market with them this spring. I wouldn’t list the Redmi Go here as the cheapest, at least its success at home has been modest, but the Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 7 coming to the next level have already taken everything. Luckily we were able to try out these phones and stared at them looking for our chin, they did so well, they were so beautiful. They have a powerful eight-core processor, a huge display, and the front-panel camera rips only a tiny drop-shaped island out of the otherwise frameless display.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 4G Phablet 6.3 inch MIUI 10 (Android 9.0 Pie) Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa Core 2.2GHz 3GB RAM 32GB ROM 48.0MP + 5.0MP Rear Camera Fingerprint Sensor 3900mAh Built-in- Black

As has been the case for years, the Note version is more powerful, with a more muscular processor, a higher-resolution display, and better cameras, so if you’re really looking for a premium close-up but cheap phone, this is the winning choice.

You can buy the Redmi 7 with 3GB of memory and 32GB of built-in storage for $ 114,99:

In the meantime, a few months have passed and Xiaomi has launched another extremely good value phone, the Redmi 7A, under the name Redmi, and it has arrived in the Far East with its debut as the Redmi K20, but the mobile is already coming to Europe under the name Xiaomi Mi 9T. is. Even fewer people know about the two new phones, so I’ll say a few words about them now!

Xiaomi Redmi 7A 4G Smartphone 5.45 inch Android 9.0 Snapdragon SDM439 Octa Core 2GB RAM 16GB ROM 13MP Rear Camera 4000mAh Battery- Blue

The Redmi 7A is the entry level (but not the lowest, the Redmi Go), compared to that, it has become a crazy good mobile. The display remained manageable in size, “only” 5,45 inches in diagonal. Its resolution, on the other hand, is quite good, especially compared to the relatively small image diagonal, as the HD +, i.e. 1440 x 720 pixel resolution, is not at all a shame. Currently, it is available in two configurations, which usually affect the memory / storage combo, more precisely in this case only the built-in storage, because you can choose between 2 GB of RAM or 16 or 32 GB of storage. What is good news, however, is that no matter how cheap the device is, the CPU has an eight-core Snapdragon proci, so no one will have a problem with power or speed. What’s also worth talking about is the 13-megapixel rear camera, and more importantly, the above-category average 4000 mAh battery.

You can buy the Redmi 7A for $ 89,99 here:

As you may have read above Xiaomi Mi 9T The latest Xiaomi mobile phone has been released under the name of Redmi K20, at least in Europe, but that makes us this phone Redmi K20 forever. There was a lot of guesswork about the name before it came out to finally reveal that the letter K is the first letter of the English word for killer (Killer), while 2.0 really wants to be 1, which is the second version of the Killer phone. Each was the Pocophone FXNUMX mentioned in the introduction, so the family tree is evolving so far.

Xiaomi Mi 9T 4G Phablet 6.39 Inch Snapdragon 730 Octa Core 6GB RAM 128GB ROM 48.0MP + 13.0MP + 8.0MP Rear Camera 4000mAh Battery- Blue

A Xiaomi Mi 9T (now called the EU) has become an interesting creature. Huge AMOLED display, fingerprint reader behind the display, triple camera on the back are all true high-end features. However, there is one more thing here that is quite surprising, and that is the lack of a front-end self-timer camera. The phone got a completely frameless display, meaning we can’t find a camera island, a hole, or anything else anywhere, which is why Xiaomi was the first to put a periscope camera in this phone. It protrudes from the upper edge of the frame, operated by a motorized mechanism when we need it, and otherwise hides nicely without disturbing anyone.

As you may have read in Xiaomi Mi 9T (i.e. the Redmi K20) is not a cheap phone, at least among the Redmis, but if we look at its knowledge and the price of similar handsets from competing manufacturers, it immediately becomes apparent that this mobile could have been launched under the name Redmi. The bottom line is that it has everything you need in a modern device, there’s the spice periscope camera, and the value for money is lavish. We already know the Redmi point will be Redmi!

Xiaomi Redmi 38 liter rolling suitcase

Xiaomi’s rolling suitcases are all super pieces. They are available in several sizes, some are designed for the luggage compartment of aircraft, others are designed for the cabin. Now, as the brand new product, the first suitcase has also appeared in Redmi's offer, which will once again entice customers to mega with its cheapness.

redmi suitcase 2

The only difference between the traditional Xiaomi and Redmi is the exterior cladding, because while the more expensive Xiaomikon has aluminum or some multi-layered special cladding, the Redmi has been given a metal frame but a polycarbonate cladding. In addition, however, everything is right. The perfectly separable inner part, the zippered pockets and bags, the durable rollers, the comfortable telescopic handle remained, and of course the lockable outer zipper could not be missed either. The price is of course friendly here too, you can save lots and lots of dollars by choosing the sporty looking red painted suitcase.

redmi suitcase 3

Before buying, it is also worth looking at the size because there are so many types of maximum sizes for cabin suitcases. That is, from the fact that it is his name, it is not yet certain that we can take it on board, at low prices, for example, it is almost certainly not.

Of course, we also have a special price for the suitcase, so now with the coupon code shown, you can buy it here for $ 109,99 instead of $ 98,99:

Xiaomi Redmibook 14, an affordable premium notebook

If anyone, I know what kind of Xiaomi notebook to use, since now, more than a year ago, I was among the first to get a machine called Xiaomi Notebook Pro ready. Several of my readers have since gotten this, and I can say without exaggeration, they have been blessing the minute ever since they let themselves be convinced.

redmibook 14 mi

The Xiaomi Notebook Pro is not a cheap machine, it really is in the premium category, but because it is Xiaomi, and since it came to me from China, it cost much less than a machine with similar capabilities from a home store. So there has been no problem with the price so far, but now that the Redmi brand has been released, Xiaomi thought it was time to think about those who want a very nice, very hardware packed but more affordable machine. That's exactly what Redmibook has become.

redmibook 14 4

It got the original Notebook Pro design, albeit with the same square shapes, display hinge design, and very thin and light housing. The hardware is also essentially the same, which in turn can make it cheaper in size. The notebook Pro got a 15,6-inch, while the Redmibook got a 14-inch diagonal. However, reducing the size of the display did not reduce the resolution, which is equally 1920 x 1080 pixels. The machine has the same Intel processor as its bigger brother, an eighth-generation Core i5-8265U (there is also a Core i7 version but not yet available), which has got four cores and, like the letter U in its name, shows an ultra-frugal model. In addition to the proci, we also get 8 GB of memory and a 256 or 512 GB GB SSD drive, so there will be no complaint about speed. The notebook also got a dedicated video controller, so we don’t have to use Intel’s integrated solution. The pixels are drawn by an NVIDIA MX250 GPU, which is a great help in graphics work, for example, but it also makes the machine suitable for gaming, of course with reduced graphics quality.

redmibook 1

What I really like about Notebook Pro (of course I really like it all) is the long battery life. Luckily, this has stayed with the smaller sibling, according to factory data, it can be up to 10 hours without a power outlet, and if the quick charge function is depleted, it can achieve 35 percent recharge in 50 minutes.

redmibook 3

In the case of the Redmiibook, good sales mean that the machine is roughly $ 200, or a strong 60 forints, cheaper than the Notebook Pro, so you can really reach a wider audience.

You can buy the notebooks at a discounted price (with discounts of $ 160 and $ 60!) At the links below using the coupon codes listed. Currently, the price of a machine with a 512GB SSD is the same as the 256GB version, but this discount unfortunately only applies to the promotional kit, which is not much.

Closing Remarks

So the Redmi series has broken into our lives, and as you can see from the article, we get really great things from them, more specifically from Xiaom. The great, impeccable quality, the mature software background, and the uncompromising hardware are packaged in a slightly more modest robe, and we’re very happy about that. Anyone who still wants a high-end look can stay with Xiaomi, who already has a very good price level, but who wants to save money can choose Redmit, which has minimal differences but is much cheaper.

Remember, if you liked any of the above products, choose a duty free EU Priority Line or plain Priority Line delivery above the $ 40 value limit (including shipping) depending on the store.
