Once upon a time, where there was none, there was once a Chinese company called Xiaomi. This Xiaomi was a tiny company and set itself the goal of becoming the world’s largest phone maker. They even set off on the set road, but deviated from it to the right and left, and met other companies during the many detours. They liked their portico and decided to either buy them or partner with them to sell their products as well. Because in the meantime, Xiaomi’s appetite had grown and she wanted to be not only the biggest phone makers, but the biggest manufacturers in everything. Because of this, you can now get a lot of all sorts of cleverness and gadgets under the name Xiaomi. Their hunger has increased, but there are some things they have not forgotten from the early days. No matter how big they are, they always try to be cost effective and make the best product with the least money.

In this article, as the title shows, we present you 10 products that are made specifically for summer and are most useful in summer. What they have in common is that both Xiaomi and can be purchased for less than 5000 forints!

VIOMI (Xiaomi) steel thermos

Heat is a heatwave, in which case a small cold drink comes in very handy. If we are hiking, cycling, we are simply lounging on the beach in a small, durable thermos that keeps the drink cool for as long as possible. I don't think anyone is surprised that we get one from Xiaom.

Of course, not only in summer, but also in winter, this 3 deci stainless steel container will come in handy, in which, according to the manufacturer, it stays cold for 24 hours, which is cold, and warm, which we fill warm. The thermos, marketed under the VIOMI brand, is available in three colors, white, black and gold, because the Chinese love gold-colored things, no matter how crappy.

Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker

In summer we grill, beach, party in the garden, and a Bluetooth speaker is essential for a good atmosphere. Clearly, for so much money, we don’t get the most advanced piece. But, in our experience, Xiaomi Bluetooth speakers always come in better sound than we expect based on price or size. They also put a subwoofer in this structure, which of course is certainly not the same thing that appears before our spiritual eyes when we hear a subwoofer. Nevertheless, we can say that despite the smallness, we get quite dynamic sounds, so we shrug our shoulders, we don’t care what they do after all.

As the title suggests, this structure is not only good for listening to music, but also for making hands-free calls with it. Not only does the sound come out of it, but it also "hears" us with the built-in microphone. In other words, if we have to organize a conference discussion on, say, work matters, and several people are sitting around the table, we have solved the sound problem with it.

I have to say I never felt like baseball caps. I’m not saying it’s not helpful, as we don’t get sunburn and it also shades our face, our eyes. These are good things. They never did well for me, but for you.

I can’t write too many details about the cap, anyone who has seen a real quality cap, such as an original American baseball cap, has any idea what quality I expect from it. It doesn't have any extras anyway, it can be adjusted with velcro on the back, it has a large shield so that the sun doesn't burn out and let the steam through, so there's a good chance we'll have a hard time sweating. Please, it was missing like a mouthful of bread. Summer and heatwave are around our necks, and the sons and daughters of our country are embarking on their well-deserved bus or car journey. Believe me, a cordless hand-held air choke will come in handy!

Xiaomi wear sunglasses

I couldn't guess a better Hungarian name for this stuff. It can also be seen in the pictures that it is nothing more than glasses with good-shaped glass, which, however, has no stems. We can put it on our normal diopter glasses so we don’t have to buy diopter sunglasses, which means we waste a little money.

The glasses look really good, at least based on the pictures. It is made of zinc alloy and of course the TAC lens, which has a polarized scratch-resistant coating. In addition, we find a little more silicone on the part we need to pinch so we don’t scratch our regular glasses. The lens can also be opened by placing it on ordinary glasses, so when entering a dark room we do not have to constantly remove the sunglasses part, it is enough to fold it up.

Xiaomi car charger and transmitter

These stuff are my favorites, and for the summer, if we go on vacation by car, they can come in very handy. The older version, the Roidmi 2S, has been working slowly for a year now and there is no sign of a bug. This is the version that is not only suitable for listening to music stored on the phone on the radio, but also for using it as a handsfree, in which case, as with a regular handsfree, we can hear the other participant in the conversation through the car speakers.

The question is why this feature was not included in the newer version. According to the official explanation - and this is unfortunately not really just a text - most cars have a cigarette lighter in a place where something is covering it. Because of this, the built-in microphone does not transmit our sound at a high quality. This is also the case with me, which is why I wrote that for lack of a better one it is appropriate, but if there is another option we would rather use it.

There is another change for the Roidmi 3S. Xiaomi’s engineers varied on the exterior, more specifically on the parts connected to the cigarette lighter contacts. It was said that some types did not have good contact. The cars of the VolsWagen group are specifically mentioned here. Well, I have a car like that, too, but that mistake doesn’t even affect me.

The point is, if you don’t need the speakerphone feature, choose the Roidmi 3S, if you need the speakerphone, the 2S will be your candidate.

Xiaomi BRE01JY dual drive earphones

Summer is for sports (too) and listening to good music while playing sports. This earpiece is one of Xiaomi’s latest throws in the cheap category. It has two drives, which is a bit tricky, but also a little special.

First, let’s make it clear that there’s no better word for this than the drive, so I’ll use that later. In English, the word driver, which in this case does not mean driver. The driver is the part of the headset that made the sound, vibrating the air. In the simpler solutions, the old headphones had only one driver, one diaphragm. Nowadays, more and more tabs are being placed in more and more ears that sound different pitches, such as the high center, SUB tube, or squeaky high on the home speaker. Of course, they do not fit in the earphones, but they can accommodate many other technologies.

The reason why I wrote that this headphone is a bit deceptive is that it is said that it contains two drivers, which is true, but the second driver is a ceramic "diaphragm" above the regular voice coil diaphragm. However, according to the pictures, this ceramic "membrane" is a passive device, in other words, I can imagine its operation as being moved by the air vibrated by the traditional membrane. It's two drives, but it's still only one.

For me, swimming is equal to summer, though I am an amateur. I only swim one more than an ax without a handle, so when I see swimming goggles I immediately think of summer and Lake Balaton. Obviously, there’s no point in wearing it right there, because we don’t supply it half a meter away.

I originally ordered these bags for testing, but somehow they both ended up with my pair, I have to get the second one somehow back until I try and write a presentation about it.
