Lightweight and smart Xiaomi shoes

The Chinese manufacturer makes sure that there is smart stuff not only on our wrists but also on our feet, and as you will see at the end of the recommendation, the price of the shoe is very surprising. The brain of the smart shoe is an Intel Curie module, which is a medium coin-sized 32-bit SoC that uses the Quark SE platform. The chip has a 6-axis sensor and a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope. The system can be used with a standard button cell for approximately 60 days. Although the system is tiny, it has enough computing power to collect data from all sensors and transmit it to our phone via Bluetooth.

The module has IP67 water resistance and can be inserted into the left or right shoe as desired. The system is very similar to the solution Nike used a few years ago, but it does a much better job of cataloging data. Like the Mi Band, Xiaomi’s smart shoes are manufactured by Huami. The shoe is available in black, gray or blue. The in-shoe gadget automatically differentiates between running, walking and a lot of other forms of movement, so at the end of the day, we can watch our daily activities along with the calories burned on the smartphone app. To do this, we need to download the Mi Fit application to our phone, we need to pair our phone with the shoe via Bluetooth. The Xiaomi Yeelight night light has, of course, been given smart features. The new version can already be connected to our phone via Bluetooth, but the old WiFi, through which we communicate with the Mi Home app, has also been preserved. The lamp also communicates with Mi Band and Mi Audio software, so it has been given a function such as voice control. You can also set the timer to turn off if you want to fall asleep clearly, the timer will turn off the light instead. You can also use the timer to set the lamp to cool down, for example, after we go to sleep so that it does not disturb us. There is also an automatic mode that has been given functions such as controlling the light of the lamp depending on the room temperature.

As for the look, Xiaomi was great again. The lower part was given a metal cover, more precisely a metal cover matted by sandblasting. The upper part is made of polycarbonate developed by Samsung and the milk glass effect is provided by the polycarbonate coating developed by LG. The lamp light is adjustable like most smart Xiaomi lamps. With the help of OSRAM LED light sources, 16 million shades can be selected, and the brightness and light temperature can be changed.

The interesting thing about this watch is that it essentially doesn’t lag behind the bigger and more expensive version in terms of knowledge, but the price is just over half that. It’s so cheap lately that we can’t buy a smartwatch from another manufacturer for that money, just a smart bracelet.

The reason why it is more appropriate to choose a Xiaomi smartwatch instead of a smart bracelet is simple. Data measured by smart bracelets, such as distance traveled, calories burned, are just values ​​based on a very rough estimate. In contrast, we find GPS in Xiaomi’s watch, which no longer tries to calculate the distance traveled based on our arm flaps, but based on satellites, which means an accuracy of a few meters. Obviously, this watch can only estimate the calories burned, but with the help of the built-in barometer you can tell with a good approximation whether you are running up or down a mountain or cycling. I wrote it with a good approach because during a summer storm, the air pressure can drop quickly, so it can disrupt the measurement.

In addition to the above, the watch is also remarkable. Gorilla Glass protects glass, making it much more durable than plastic-clad smart bracelets, for example. Waterproof, its display is colored so that the different data can be easily separated from each other. In addition to the barometer and GPS, it also got an E-compass sensor to help with orientation.

Let me also say a few words about the services. Of course, it provides the usual basic functions, so you can set an alert for various messaging programs by connecting it to your phone via Bluetooth, or it will vibrate even if you have an incoming call. It has an alarm clock and you can set an alarm for yourself at different times. you can set it to tell us at certain times that it’s time to get up next to the machine and take a walk.

Among the sports features, it is perhaps worth highlighting that it actively supports four sports. Walking, running outdoors and on a treadmill, and finally cycling.

Well, it won't go wrong, it also supports ac standards from WiFi networks, so the speed will be there unless the whole district hangs on our wifink.

Well, it hasn't been there since then, because it turned out that what was good at the age of 18 is no longer good in 30 years. So I passed it on within the family. Well, the point is not that, but that it was a really well put together and comfortable piece. Just as all these parts of this goggle are metal, except of course the silicone nose pads, the nylon lens - or what is called in sunglasses what is not made of glass and is not a lens?

Anyway, I like it too, and although it could be about ten dollars cheaper, don't hold back if you wanted to. On the one hand, there is little chance that a million pieces will come across on the boulevard, on the other hand, you will not be disappointed in the quality.

Xiaomi Huami AMAZFIT Cor smart bracelet

It’s not Xiaomi’s most popular smart bracelet, but Mi Band 2, which is probably because it’s pretty unpretentious in the good sense of the word, it knows a lot of things, and it’s cheap. Amazfit Cor is actually a Mi Band 2 when we look at knowledge, but when it comes to looks, we already see a smartwatch in front of us. The exterior is really flashy, high quality and sleek, and the display is now usable in size and color, which again makes it just a smart show.

The design exterior, however, hides a resilient interior. The house is made of steel, and with the bracelet we can even swim because it is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters. It has Bluettoth, of course, so it syncs our calendar with our phone, it sounds when we have an incoming call or a message, but as an extra it even forecasts the weather for us.

If you want a smart bracelet with a knowledgeable, plus a beautiful and usable display, this is what you are looking for. The only question is whether it is worth spending 19 thousand forints or 15 thousand for the hour ahead on the list. Xiaomi 5 in 1 smart home security package

Well, the price went down well, but we can only be happy about that, because it fit into the $ 80 frame. This package is an entry-level compilation that you can use to lay the foundation for your smart home, starting with security settings. There is a central unit in the pack, so you can connect the sensors to it, or later, if you expand your home smart home accessories, wireless switches, a camera and a thousand other things.

The package also includes a motion sensor, a door open sensor, a smart connector and a simple wireless switch that can be programmed to switch the smart connector or later used for smart lights. The interesting thing about the package is that thanks to Xiaomi’s cloud service, wherever we are, if we have a mobile network, we get an alarm on our phone when the door opens or the motion sensor detects motion. Of course, since this is a package that can also be used to build a smart home, we can program a lot of things for different sensors. For example, a motion sensor can turn on the Internet radio built into the central unit when we get home, and the door opener can even turn on a smartness to be purchased later if we set it up.

Xiaomi VR 3D glasses with built-in motion sensor and remote control

If Samsung could have 3D glasses, couldn’t Xiaomi be measured? We used to show you some cheap glasses, but all that had to do with it was that you could put a phone in it and it had two lenses in it.

This more expensive version has already got its own 6-way motion sensor, which allows it to track the movement of our head much more precisely and faster than the sensors built into the phone. This will also make the 3D experience much more realistic. Plus, the goggles don’t see the usual 90-degree space, but 103-degree space, so we’ll have a little less of a feeling like looking at the virtual world through diving goggles. As an additional extra, we also get a remote control that seems to be usable, which makes adventure in the menu of VR programs easier.
