Apple has announced that it has sold its three millionth iPad.
Steve Jobs announced that he managed to sell 80 million iPads in 3 days. The announcement is certainly not coincidentally timed for now, with sales of the iPhone 2 starting in 4 days, so there is a clear interest for the press to cover the company.
Going back to the iPad, the sales volume is very good, especially considering that we can currently buy the device in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. The company also said it will soon start selling the iPad in 9 more countries. However, let’s not forget that more companies will be releasing tablets soon, so the iPad may not have such an easy task in the coming period if it gets stiff competition in terms of both quality and price.
