Intel offers 10-core Xeon processors

Ten-core CPUs for servers run at 2,0 to 2,4 GHz clock speeds, have 24 or 30 MB of L3 cache memory, and have an average power consumption of 105 W or 130 W. Multiple cores cost more money, with the cheapest ten-core Xeon costing $ 2558 and the most expensive $ 4616. However, before we fall back on the numbers, let’s not forget, 12-core Opterons have been available at AMD for a while now!
